Drug Formulation
Scutellaria, Coptis, and Cypress (each half raw, half stir-fried in wine); Licorice (half raw, half roasted)—all in equal parts.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with snow water to form pills the size of a sesame seed; coat with one-tenth of a fen each of cinnabar and realgar (water-floated).

Instructions for Use
Administer with a decoction of lightly fermented soybeans. This is an excellent remedy for infants within the first twelve months after birth. It is especially recommended during years when smallpox and measles are prevalent.
