Drug Formulation

1 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis (black core removed), 1 liang of Belamcanda chinensis, 3 fen of Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed, fried with wheat bran), 3 fen of Pinellia ternata (washed 7 times in boiling water to remove slipperiness, then dried), 3 fen of Glycyrrhiza uralensis (roasted, coarsely chopped), 1.5 liang of Cimicifuga heracleifolia, 1 liang and 1 fen of Cinnamomum cassia (coarse bark removed).

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose, add 1.5 zhan of water and 5 slices of fresh ginger, decoct together until reduced to 8 fen, strain, and drink while warm, three times daily.
