Dodder seeds (soaked in wine, stir-fried) 1 liang, chive seeds (stir-fried) 1 liang, pine nut kernels 1 liang, dragon bone (calcined) 5 qian, oyster shell (calcined, quenched in vinegar) 5 qian,Cornus officinalis (pitted, pulp only) 5 qian, Cinnabar (calcined) 5 qian, Psoralea corylifolia 1 liang (roasted), Polygala tenuifolia (seed core removed) 7 qian 5 fen, Morinda officinalis (seed core removed) 7 qian 5 fen, Rubus chingii 7 qian 5 fen, Lycium barbarum 7 qian 5 fen, Phellodendron amurense (roasted with salt and wine until black) 7 qian 5 fen,Chinese yam 7 qian 5 fen, Euryale seed (shelled) 1 liang, Eucommia bark (stir-fried with ginger juice until shredded) 1 liang, Rosa laevigata fruit (semi-greenish-yellow, thorns and seeds removed, flesh dried) 2 liang, Dried ginger (stir-fried until black) 1 liang, Deer antler gelatin 1 liang 5 qian (stir-fried into beads).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
