Drug Formulation

Atractylodes macrocephala (washed, chopped, and stir-fried with earth) 1 qian; Black Zhi Shi (stir-fried with wheat bran) 8 fen; Chen Pi (white pith removed) 8 fen;Poria (with coarse skin removed) 1 qian, Cyperus Rhizome (soaked in a child’s urine, then stir-fried) 1 qian, Pinellia (soaked in hot water 7 times) 1 qian, Coptis (stir-fried with ginger juice), Areca Nut (heart-shaped variety) 5 fen, White Cardamom 5 fen, Green Tangerine Peel (stir-fried with wheat bran) 3 fen, Evodia Fruit 3 fen, Raw Licorice 3 fen.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Add 1 zhong of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, and 1 jujube; decoct until reduced to 8 fen; take after meals.
