Formulas Name : Seven-Red Pill

Chinese Name : 七红丹

Drug Formulation

1.5 fen of ox bile, 1.5 fen of musk, 1.5 fen of dog’s gallbladder, 1 qian of agarwood, 1 qian of cinnabar, 1 qian of red ochre (calcined with vinegar), and 1 qian of rosin.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with rice, and pound into pills the size of a bean; coat with gold leaf.
