Drug Formulation

5 liang of rendered mutton fat, 5 liang of rendered beef marrow, 5 liang of white honey, 5 liang of rendered pork fat, 1 he of ginger juice, and 5 liang of raw rehmannia root juice.

Processing

First, simmer the pork and mutton fat until it comes to a boil; then add the beef marrow and simmer until it boils again; next, add the white honey, ginger, and fresh rehmannia root juice. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until the ointment is formed, then store it in an airtight container.

Instructions for Use

Take about 1 spoonful per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach; it may also be taken with soup or congee.
