Drug Formulation

Arsenic trioxide 1 zi, Dragon Bone 2 zi (calcined), Blackfish Bone 3 zi, Red Cinnabar 2 zi, Poria 3 zi, Coptis (without stalks) 3 zi, Starch 3 zi, Dried Ginger 3 zi (roasted), Orpiment 3 zi (fire-flying).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix in a small amount of musk, and blend well. Form into pills the size of millet grains using cooked rice as a binder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of mercuric oxide. This formula also treats all types of dysentery: for red discharge, take with a decoction of licorice; for white discharge, take with a decoction of dried ginger; for a mixture of red and white discharge, take with a decoction of dried ginger and licorice.
