Drug Formulation

1 liang of Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, wrinkled skin scraped off, and roasted until dry), half a liang of Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed pods removed, lightly roasted to remove moisture), half a liang of Schisandra berries, 1 liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), half a liang of Dried Ginger (roasted until cracked, coarsely chopped), 3 fen of Ginseng (root tip removed),3 fen of Astragalus (chopped), 3 fen of Alisma, 3 fen of Ligusticum, 3 fen of Achyranthes (stems removed), half a liang of Angelica (chopped, lightly roasted), 3 fen of Dendrobium (roots removed, chopped), 2 liang of Magnetite (crushed, rinsed with water to remove red liquid, wrapped in cloth), and half a liang of Cinnamon Bark.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose. Boil with 1 large bowl of water, 1 pair of sheep kidneys (with fat and membranes removed), and 3 jujubes, along with the magnetite bundle, until the liquid is reduced to 5 fen. Strain and take warm before meals.
