Chinese Name : 肾着散

Drug Formulation

Cinnamon Bark (Gui Xin) 3 liang, White Atractylodes (Bai Zhu) 4 liang, Poria (Fu Ling) 4 liang, Licorice (Gan Cao) 2 liang (roasted), Alisma (Ze Xie) 2 liang, Achyranthes (Niu Xi) 2 liang, Dried Ginger (Gan Jiang) 2 liang, Eucommia (Du Zhong) 3 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Benefits

Lumbar pain due to Kidney-Zhuo syndrome. The lower back feels cold as ice, and the abdomen feels heavy as if something were falling within it.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 fangcun bi per dose; boil with 1 sheng of wine until it comes to a boil 5–6 times, strain, and drink all at once. Take three times daily.

Note

Avoid raw scallions, peaches, plums, sparrow meat, seaweed, Chinese cabbage, and pickled foods.
