Drug Formulation

1 liang of Zhongru Powder, 1 liang of white quartz (ground), 1 liang of ephedra (roots and nodes removed), 1 liang of schisandra berries (roasted),Cinnamon (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Red Poria (with black skin removed) 1 liang, Perilla Seeds 1 liang, Apricot Kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow) 1 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, Ophiopogon (with core removed, roasted) half a liang, Tussilago Flower half a liang.

Processing

First, coarsely grind the first 10 ingredients; then add the calcite powder and grind until uniform.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 1 zhan of water, half a fen of sliced ginger, and 3 split jujubes; decoct together until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take while still slightly warm, at any time of day.
