Drug Formulation

Ginseng (root removed) 1 liang, Agastache leaves (soil removed) 1 liang, Mercury 1 liang, Loquat leaves (first roasted to remove hairs, then coated with ginger juice and roasted until fragrant and thoroughly cooked) 1 liang,Poria cocos 1 liang, licorice (roasted) half a liang, nutmeg (wrapped in flour and slow-roasted until cooked) half a liang, sulfur (ground into a fine powder; mixed with mercury in an iron pot, stirred continuously over heat while grinding into a paste, then allowed to cool) half a liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder; then stir-fry the sulfur and mercury together until well blended, add them to the powder, and grind again until uniformly fine. Mix with refined honey to form a paste.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

For each child aged 1 year, administer an amount roughly the size of a Paulownia seed, dissolved in a decoction of ginger and jujube; adjust the dosage according to the child’s size. To treat regurgitation, administer an amount roughly the size of a soapberry.
