Drug Formulation
1 liang of Bile Star, 1 liang of Tianma, 7 qian of Whole Scorpion (wrapped in Perilla leaf and steamed), 7 qian of Stiff Silkworm (wrapped in Perilla leaf and steamed), 7 qian of White Aconite (wrapped in Perilla leaf and steamed), 5 qian of Talc,Cicada Shedding 5 qian, Ginseng 5 qian, Sichuan Aconite 5 qian, Xuanming Powder 5 qian, Fangfeng 4 qian, Indian Curcuma 4 qian, Acorus 4 qian, Platycodon 3 qian, Indigo Powder 3 qian, Dried Alum 3 qian, Hematite 3 qian, Realgar 2 qian,2 qian of boric acid, 2 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of Ba Shuang, 2 qian of mercury oxide, 3 qian of borneol, 3 qian of musk, 3 qian of mercury, 8 qian of sulfur (melted, then ground together with mercury), 1 liang of Acorus tatarinowii rhizome, 1 liang of mint, 1 liang of Schizonepeta.

Decoct the ingredients into a paste and form into pills the size of a water caltrop seed; coat them with a five-color coating made from indigo powder, cinnabar, realgar, gold leaf, and silver leaf.
