Drug Formulation

3 liang of realgar, 2 liang of orpiment, 1.5 liang of alum, 1.5 liang of ghost arrow, and 2 liang of goat horn.

From *Formulas for Emergency Use* (Zhouhou Fang), Volume 2.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder; place 1 liang in a triangular crimson pouch and wear it over the heart or hang it above the door.

Instructions for Use

Wrap one dao gui in blue cloth on the first day of the lunar month, burn it in the central courtyard, and use the smoke to fumigate patients with a warm constitution as well.
