Drug Formulation
Half a jin of unhydrated lime (ground into a fine powder), 1 liang of rhubarb (ground into a fine powder), and half a liang of cinnamon bark (ground into a fine powder).

Processing
First, roast the quicklime in a clay vessel until it turns pale red; remove it from the heat and wait until it cools slightly. Next, add the rhubarb powder and continue roasting it off the stove. Once it has cooled further, add the cinnamon bark powder and roast briefly. Then, add rice vinegar and simmer while stirring until it forms a black ointment.
