Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Tianma, half a liang of Gusuibu, 1 liang of pine knots (chopped), 1 liang of decayed turtle shell (roasted with vinegar),half liang of Dragon Bone, half liang of Tiger Bone (roasted in wine), half liang of Black Snake (soaked in wine, skinned and deboned, then roasted), half liang of White Flower Snake (soaked in wine, skinned and deboned, then roasted), half liang of Evodia Root (sliced, roasted), 1 piece of Aconite Root (cracked, peeled, and navel removed),Qianghuo (with root tip removed) half liang, Duhuo (with root tip removed) half liang, Niuxi (soaked in wine, sliced, and roasted) half liang, Danggui (sliced and roasted) 1 liang, Chuanxiong 1 liang, hemp seeds 2 liang, dried Rehmannia root (roasted) half liang, eggplant root (sliced and roasted) 2 liang,raw silkworm sand (roasted) 2 liang.

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients until they are about the size of sesame or mung beans. Soak in 2 dou of wine, seal tightly, and let stand for 3 days in spring and summer, or 7 days in autumn and winter.
