1 cicada (roasted, wings and legs removed), 1 liang of rhubarb (baked, coarsely chopped),Gypsum (crushed) 1 liang, Bupleurum (stems removed) 1 liang, Ox Bile (ground) 3 fen, Dragon’s Teeth (crushed) 3 fen, Gardenia Seeds 3 fen, Cimicifuga 3 fen, Peony Root 3 fen, Glehnia Root 3 fen, Uncaria 3 fen, Apricot Kernels 21 (soaked in hot water, skin, tip, and double kernels removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), Gentiana 0.5 liang, Salvia Root (ground) 1.5 liang.
