Drug Formulation
1 set of Ziheche (i.e., male placenta; wash thoroughly with water, then soak in wine and vinegar; simmer until soft using a child’s urine and fine wine; if placenta is unavailable, substitute with a male pig’s stomach, prepared in the same manner), half a qian of musk, 1.5 liang of large red Sichuan pepper (remove the stem and seeds; place on two layers of yellow straw paper; place over a hot stove, frequently skimming off the oil; then pound on the ground and cover overnight),Tiger’s Head Bone (soaked in wine for two nights, then roasted until charred) 1.5 liang, yellow dog’s head (meat only) 4 liang (simmered until tender in a mixture of a child’s urine and wine), deer antler 7.5 qian (roasted with wine), raw softshell turtle shell 1 piece (remove the frills; soak in vinegar overnight; then place in an upturned bowl with one zhan of vinegar and roast over low heat until the vinegar evaporates completely),Peach kernels (soaked in water, skinned, and roasted) half liang, Qin gelatin (washed) half liang, Frankincense half liang, Ming ejiao (stir-fried until crisp) half liang, Realgar 2 qian and a half, Benzoin 2 qian and a half, Raw hair (twisted into a paper rope, burned over a flame to retain its essence) 2 qian and a half.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Bind into pills the size of a paulownia seed using placenta and dog meat as binders.
