Drug Formulation

Cloves 3 fen, Myrrh 3 fen, Benzoin 3 fen, Musk 1 fen (finely ground), Angelica sinensis 3 fen, Frankincense 3 fen (finely ground), Aconite 3 fen (peeled and pitted), White Angelica 3 fen, Cinnamon Bark 3 fen, Male Sparrow Droppings 410 pieces, Cnidium seeds 3 fen, Orpiment 3 fen (lightly roasted), Sesame oil 1 jin.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients. Add them to the oil and simmer over low heat until the Angelica dahurica turns a yellowish-brown color. Strain out the solids, add the realgar, and simmer gently while stirring continuously until the ointment is formed. Store in a non-porous container.
