Drug Formulation

Hemp seeds (lightly roasted) 1 liang, Prunus mume seeds (soaked, peeled) 7 qian,Dodder Seed (steamed with wine) 7 qian, Trifoliate Orange Peel (stir-fried with wheat bran) 7 qian, Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine) 7 qian, Plantain Seed 7 qian, Chinese Yam 7 qian, Cistanche (washed with wine) 1 liang and a half, Ginseng (steamed with honey) 2 liang, Rhubarb (steamed with wine) 2 liang, Dried Tangerine Peel (white pith removed) 5 qian, Peach Kernel (shelled) 5 qian.

Processing

First, pound Rhubarb and Ginseng into a paste; then add the powdered herbs and mix with refined honey to form pills.

Instructions for Use

Take 40 pills each time, washed down with plain hot water, once in the morning and once in the evening. If the intestines are moist but the anus is tight, use pig bile mixed with a small amount of soapberry powder to facilitate evacuation. Once the stool has passed, stop taking the pills and immediately take a formula that nourishes yin and the stomach to strengthen the root constitution.
