Drug Formulation

Chuan Wutou (raw, with skin and pith removed) 3 liang; Wulingzhi (roasted, ground separately) 3 liang; Sichuan Danggui (stem removed, soaked in wine, then baked) 3 liang; Cao Wutou (raw, with skin and tip removed) 5 liang; Myrrh (ground separately) 2 liang; Mu Bie Zi (meat extracted, roasted) 2 liang; Earthworm (washed, soil removed) 2 liang;White Frankincense (melted in a silver vessel) 1 liang, Whole Scorpion (stir-fried with wheat bran) half a liang, Cinnabar (ground separately) half a liang, Frankincense (ground separately) 1.5 liang, Musk (ground separately) 2 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; add water drop by drop to form pills the size of a chicken’s egg, then air-dry.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, ground with ginger juice, and swallow with warm wine. For women with blood-wind disorders, take it ground with wine; for children with convulsions, divide each pill into 3 doses and take them ground with a decoction of gold, silver, and mint; for adults suffering from sudden collapse, grind 1 pill and administer it orally—they will immediately regain consciousness.
