Drug Formulation

1 liang of Sophora japonica flowers, 2 liang of Sichuan pepper, 1 liang of ivory powder (roasted with butter), 2 qian of orpiment, 2 qian of frankincense, 2 qian of myrrh, 2 qian of human nasal mucus, 1 qian of dragon’s blood, 1 qian of centipede, 1 qian of Sichuan pangolin scale, 1 qian of raw arsenic, and 1 qian of raw milk.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with 1 liang 5 qian of Shenqu powder to form a thick paste, then incorporate the medicinal powder and pound until uniform. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed. Separately, grind cinnabar into a fine powder to use as a coating.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills every morning and 15 pills every evening, washed down with Tu-Fu-Ling Decoction.

Note

Avoid sexual activity and anger for 100 days; consume several liang of pork daily.
