Drug Formulation

2 liang of Belamcanda rhizome, 2 liang of Gallnut (i.e., gallnut), 2 liang of Apricot kernels, 2 liang of Gypsum, 2 liang of Clethra seeds (shelled and defatted), 2 liang of Polygonatum (i.e., golden thread lily), 2 liang of Mica, 2 liang of Euphorbia, 2 liang of Sophora root, 2 liang of Mountain Arisaema, 2 liang of White Medicinal Seed, 2 liang of Rhubarb (steamed with wine),2 qian of Musk, 1 liang of Indigo Powder, 1 liang of Clematis, 1 liang of White Angelica, 5 qian of Coptis, 5 qian of Wind-Dissolving Powder.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of a marble; coat with a fine powder of Indigo Blue and Talc; dry in the shade.

Instructions for Use

This medicine neutralizes all poisons, including witchcraft-induced toxins, as well as the venoms of rats, vipers, and pufferfish; fungal toxins; toxins from the meat of cattle and horses that died of epidemics; throat obstruction; bone splinters; and thorns from bamboo and wood. It should be ground into a paste with running water and taken immediately;For boils and abscesses on the back, carbuncles, sores, and ulcers; venomous snake and dog bites; venom from centipedes, bees, scorpions, and vipers; and injuries from knives, axes, scalds, and burns—grind the medicine with well water and take it orally, and apply it to the affected area; for women suffering from retained fetal remains, foul odors, masses, parasitic infestations, chest and epigastric fullness, and abdominal distension—grind the medicine with fine wine and take it orally.
