Instructions for Use

Additionally, use 4 jin of fresh Artemisia annua, 2 jin of Phoenix Tail Grass, 3 jin of Xanthium, 3 jin of Large ?? Grass, and 3 jin of Small ?? Grass; decoct these five ingredients together to produce a concentrated decoction. Also use 15 jin of wheat (washed, lightly steamed, and sun-dried) and 6 liang of malt powder.First, mix the herbs with the malt powder, then incorporate the herbal decoction and knead into blocks. Wrap each block in lotus leaves, tie them tightly with ramie string, and steam in a steamer for one hour. Remove and let cool for 3–4 hours until completely cold. Place the blocks in a barrel, layering them as follows: one layer of rice straw,followed by a layer of Shenqu. Cover tightly. Leave for 12 days, then remove and sun-dry for over a month until completely dry. Brush off the lotus leaves, then expose to the open air for 7 nights and sun-dry for 7 days. Once thoroughly dry, store for future use. Sun-dry several times each month to prevent mold. Adults take 3 qian per dose; children take 1 qian (up to 1.5 qian). Decoct in water and drink.
