Chinese Name : 万应喉中散
Drug Formulation
Take 1 qian of rhinoceros horn (authentic if it has pierced the horn plate), 5 qian of Drip Milk Stone (ground into a fine powder), 1 qian of genuine pearl (preferably large and oil-free), 1 qian of split cinnabar (thoroughly washed and ground into a powder), 3 qian of lampwick ash (aged is best), and 5 qian of catechu,1 qian of large camphor, 2 qian of fragrant white angelica (sun-dried, ground into a fine powder), 3 qian of sliced Phellodendron bark (sun-dried, ground into a fine powder), 7 qian of Perilla mint (sun-dried, ground into a fine powder), 3 qian of licorice (sun-dried, ground into a fine powder), 3 qian of indigo powder (lime removed, ground into a fine powder), and 3 qian of dragon’s blood.

Processing
Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. Weigh the ingredients according to the prescribed proportions, mix them evenly, then grind them again until extremely fine and silent. Store in a porcelain jar, ensuring no air escapes.
