Drug Formulation

Fresh Dali Zi (roots, leaves, and stems) 3 jin; Live White Impatiens 4 liang (stems; for the first two ingredients, add 10 jin of sesame oil and decoct until charred, then strain out the residue; add the remaining herbs the next day); Sichuan Aconite 2 liang,Cinnamon Twig 2 liang, Rhubarb 2 liang, Angelica Root 2 liang, Cassia Bark 2 liang, Cinnamomum Cassia 2 liang, Aconite Root (raw) 2 liang, Sichuan Aconite 2 liang, Earthworm 2 liang, Dried Silkworm 2 liang, Red Peony Root 2 liang, White Angelica Root 2 liang, White Smilax 2 liang, Bletilla 2 liang, Sichuan Ligusticum 4 liang, Dipsacus Root 1 liang, Saposhnikovia Root 1 liang, Schizonepeta 1 liang,Wulingzhi 1 liang, Mu Xiang 1 liang, Xiangyuan 1 liang, Chenpi 1 liang (decoct again; when the herbs are dry, strain out the residue; let the oil cool overnight; check the weight after it has solidified.For every 1 jin of oil, add 7 liang of thoroughly roasted yellow丹 and mix well; simmer gently over low heat until a drop of the mixture forms a bead and does not stick to the finger; then cover the heat source with damp coarse paper and move the oil pot to a cold stove), Frankincense 2 liang, Myrrh (powder) 2 liang, Storax Oil 4 liang, Musk 1 liang.
