Drug Formulation

Cicada Shed Skin 1 liang (remove dirt, wings, and legs; lightly roasted), Snake Shed Skin 6 qian (lightly roasted), Notopterygium 4 liang, Angelica sinensis 4 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 4 liang, Saposhnikovia 4 liang, Poria cocos (ground into powder; washed with water) 4 liang,4 liang of roasted licorice, 4 liang of oyster shell (soaked overnight in east-flowing water, lightly roasted in salt water), 13 liang of red peony root, 2 liang of gardenia fruit (roasted until black),White Tribulus (stir-fried with rice until golden, thorns removed; discard the rice) half jin, Scutellaria baicalensis 3 liang, Chrysanthemum morifolium 3 liang, Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice washing water for half a day, sun-dried, stir-fried with 1 jin of sesame seeds to remove the pungent taste, then discard the sesame seeds) 15 liang, Raw Rehmannia 4 liang, Prepared Rehmannia 4 liang, Cyperus rotundus 4 liang, Cassia tora 4 liang, Prunella vulgaris 4 liang.
