Drug Formulation

1 jin of Silver from Mountain and Marsh (boiled in water to extract the liquid), 2 liang of Dragon’s Teeth, half a liang of Raw Rehmannia (sliced and roasted), 2 liang of Stephania (chopped), 2 liang of Antelope Horn (sliced), 2 liang of Polygala (with the core removed),1 liang and a half of ginseng (root tip removed), 1 liang and a half of Du Huo (root tip removed), 1 liang and a half of licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped), 1 liang and a half of cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed), 1 liang of Asarum (stems and leaves removed), 2 liang and a half of Poria cocos (black skin removed), and 10 apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed, double kernels separated, and stir-fried).

Processing

Except for the silver solution, grind the remaining ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose; boil with 2 zhan of silver solution until reduced to 8 fen; strain out the residue; add a small amount of bamboo sap; stir well; and take while warm—once on an empty stomach, once at noon, and once before bedtime.
