Drug Formulation

1 jin of imported sulfur (black sulfur is called “female,” yellow sulfur is called “male”; use equal parts of each. Crush them, pour strong vinegar over them, and extract the oil from the center; use only the pure portion. Take one bamboo tube, peel off the green outer layer, place the sulfur inside, seal the opening with wax, and submerge it in a dry latrine pit for one year. Remove it and place it in a slow-flowing stream for 49 days),Bright pine resin (melt it, add rice wine and boil for 6–7 boils; pour into cold water, skim off the bitter yellow liquid; repeat boiling and skimming seven times in a row until completely purified; use only when it is fine, white, and free of impurities) 3 liang; Atractylodes macrocephala (soaked in rice wash, rough skin scraped off; use only the clean, white part) 1 jin,Rosewood incense 4 liang, Maoxiang (which does not catch fire) 4 liang, White gum incense 4 liang, Sichuan Aconite (soaked, peel removed) 4 liang, Sichuan Ligusticum 4 liang, Evil Fruit (ground into powder) 3 liang, Wild Aconite (roasted, peel removed) 3 liang, Tianmianma 3 liang.
