Formulas Name : White Areca Nut Powder

Chinese Name : 白槟榔散

Drug Formulation

Half a liang of roasted areca nut, half a liang of Bletilla striata, half a liang of Phellodendron bark (with coarse outer bark removed), and half a liang of Aquilaria wood.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder.

For boils and abscesses.

Instructions for Use

Add 2 qian of mercury oxide and mix thoroughly. If the sore is dry, apply the mixture mixed with pork lard from the twelfth lunar month; if it is moist, apply the powder directly.
