For chronic leg ulcers that have not healed for decades. Also treats scalp sores.

Instructions for Use

Soak the ingredients in the oil overnight, then transfer them to an iron vessel and simmer over low heat until the herbs are completely charred. Remove the herbs and strain out the residue. Re-simmer the oil; just as it begins to boil, add one egg (shell removed) and fry it in the oil until it turns deep yellow. Discard the egg. Continue simmering the oil over low heat until its color becomes extremely clear—so clear that one can see one’s own eyebrows and mustache reflected in it. Add 6 fen of beeswax,4 fen of yellow wax, and let them melt. Immediately take more than ten sheets of bamboo paper and, while the oil is still hot, dip them into the oil one by one—placing one sheet in and removing the next—to allow the heat to permeate them. Ensure each sheet is separated from the others. Let them air-dry in the sun until thoroughly dry. If placed together, the residual heat will not dissipate even after several days; when applied, the toxic fumes will be forced inward, making it difficult to achieve the desired effect. Cut the paper to fit the size of the sore and apply it. Within moments, pus will coat the paper; discard it and replace it.Repeat this process more than ten times a day; within a few days, the pus will be completely drained, the flesh will fill in, and new tissue will form. Once the pus is gone, new tissue will form even without further applications. For cases with heavy pus discharge, use 6 fen of yellow wax and 5 fen of white wax; do not increase or decrease the amounts in the slightest.
