1 liang of licorice, 1 liang of Fangfeng (with root and forked branches removed), 20 zhu of white Atractylodes, 2.5 qian of Leiwan, and 20 zhu of Platycodon (with root removed).

Processing
Coarsely crush the ingredients. Add 1 jin of pork fat to extract the oil, then simmer the mixture over low heat for a long time. When the mixture reaches the desired consistency—thick and turbid—the ointment is ready. Strain out the residue and form into pills the size of a marble.

Instructions for Use
Administer one pill per dose; warm your hands by roasting them and rub the infant 100 times. For those with cold symptoms, apply heat; for those with heat symptoms, apply cold. For healthy children, rub the fontanelle and the palms and soles of the hands and feet upon waking each morning; this is highly effective in warding off wind and cold pathogens.
