Drug Formulation
1 liang of mercury, 2 liang of alum, 2 liang of soapstone alum, 2 liang of fire-refined alum, 2 liang of table salt, 3 qian of realgar, and 3 qian of cinnabar.

Processing
First, grind the last six ingredients into a fine powder and place them in a Yangcheng jar. Place the mercury in the center, cover it tightly with an iron cup, secure it with iron wire, and seal the opening with salt mud. Dry it in the sun; if cracks appear, repair them. Follow the method for refining medicinal substances until three sticks of incense have burned. Once cooled and set, scrape the potent medicine from the cup and grind it into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use
Apply 2–3 li of the mixture, mixed with cold water, 3–4 times until cured.
