7 wild fox noses, 7 leopard noses (roasted), 1 civet skull (roasted), 1 liang of realgar, 2 liang of asafoetida, 1 liang of ghost arrow feathers, 1 liang of dew-soaked bee hive (roasted), 1 liang of white atractylodes, 1 liang of tiger skull (roasted),4 fen of donkey hair (burned to ash; if using bone, stir-fry it first), 4 fen of horse hair (burned to ash; if using bone, stir-fry it first), 4 fen of dog hair (burned to ash; if using bone, stir-fry it first), 4 fen of camel hair (burned to ash; if using bone, stir-fry it first), 4 fen of cow hair (burned to ash; if using bone, stir-fry it first), 1 liang of the skull bone of a deceased person (roasted).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix thoroughly. Boil pine resin in water until melted, then add it to the mixture. Do not stir with your hands; instead, use a tiger’s claw to mix and form into pills.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill with water, divide it in half, and separately grind realgar into a powder to form a coating. Heat it over a fire under the bed, cover it with bedding, and ensure that the medicinal smoke and fumes do not escape. If no sweat has broken out, take 2 pills with water, drink half, and wait a short while; if sweating does not occur, walk approximately 10 li, then warm the remaining dose and consume it while still warm.After taking the medicine, sit upright; after a short while, lie down flat. Use warm clothing and bedding to cover your head and entire body, ensuring you are well-insulated and warm. The treatment must take place in a warm room; do not allow drafts to enter. Once sweating begins, examine the fingers and toes and the spaces between the joints by lamplight: fine hairs should appear. If they are bluish-yellow or whitish, the first dose has taken effect; if they are reddish, three doses are required; if the hairs are black, it is a sign of imminent death.If sweating occurs, wipe the entire body with blue silk. At sunrise, wash in a black lacquer basin; the presence of worms resembling bran flakes is a sign of effectiveness. If the large intestine expels black water, dark purple, foul yellow-white pus and mucus, or various worm-like substances, the treatment is effective. Immediately afterward, take a harmonizing herb.
