Drug Formulation

1 liang of the parietal bone, 1 liang of macaque skull, 1 liang of tiger skull, 1 fen of cinnabar (finely ground), 1 fen of realgar (finely ground), 1 fen of musk (finely ground), 1 fen of mung bean powder, and 1 liang of arsenic trioxide (finely ground).

Processing

Grind the above raw herbs into a fine powder, add the latter five ingredients, and grind everything together until uniform. On the 5th day of the 5th lunar month at noon, facing south, shape the mixture into pills the size of a paulownia seed using the tip of a zongzi.

Instructions for Use

Before each attack, wrap one pill in blue silk and tie it to the left arm for men or the right arm for women; the illness will immediately be cured. Each pill can treat seven people; for the seventh person, swallow the pill with cold vinegar broth.
