Drug Formulation

1 liang of Mu Bie Zi (remove the skin, chop into pieces the size of small beans; soak in 2 liang of clear oil for 1–2 nights; then simmer over low heat until the volume is reduced by half; remove the Mu Bie Zi; add 1 qian of beeswax; stir until well blended; once the wax has melted, strain through silk to remove the residue),1 qian of frankincense (ground separately into a fine powder; when the Mu Bie Zi oil and wax are about to solidify, quickly add it to the oil and stir continuously until well blended).
