Drug Formulation

2 jin of Honeysuckle, 1 jin of Lily Bulb, 8 liang of genuine donkey-hide gelatin (roasted), and 8 liang of Sichuan fritillary bulb (core removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Use 20 jin each of summer-dried grass and mulberry leaves to boil down into a decoction, then reduce it to a paste to form pills weighing 3 qian each.

Instructions for Use

For pulmonary atrophy and lung abscess, take with Lily Decoction; for heart palpitations, take with Cinnabar and Ophiopogon Decoction; for chronic cough, take with Five-Flavor Decoction; for intestinal abscess and mastitis, take with Trichosanthes Seed with Shell Decoction;for blood deficiency in the liver with restlessness and agitation, take with a decoction of White Peony Root and Lycium Bark; for scrofula, take with realgar dissolved in hot water; to treat sores, grind with vinegar and apply to the affected area, while also taking the formula orally with a guide herb; for unspeakable genital sores with unbearable pain and itching, take with a decoction of Plantain Seed and Oyster Shell Powder.
