Drug Formulation

1 liang of rhubarb, 1 liang of gardenia, 1 qian of realgar, 1 liang of strychnos seeds, 1 qian of borax, 1 qian of realgar (grind all the above into a fine powder), a pinch of calcium carbonate, 2 oil walnuts, 5 slices of garlic (peeled), 4 qian of dried white cauliflower, and 1 black dog’s brain.

Processing

1 zhong of high-quality rice wine; mix the powdered form of the first six medicinal ingredients into the latter ingredient, then pound them together into a cake.

Instructions for Use

Apply one cake at a time to the affected area; place a hot water bottle on top of the cake to warm it. If it cools, replace it with a hot water bottle and warm it again. Secure the area with a cloth bandage. Leave the application in place for 2–3 days, then remove it. Wait 1–2 days before applying a new cake, following the same method as before.

Note

Avoid raw, cold, greasy, and "triggering" foods.
