Drug Formulation

5 Lingzhi 2 liang, Fangfeng (stem removed) 1 liang, Chuan Beixie (roasted, peel and pith removed) 1 liang, Gouji (hairs removed) 1 liang, Da Cangzhu (soaked in rice water) 1 liang, Tiger Bone (crushed, boiled in wine) 1 liang, Chuan Wu (raw) 1 liang,Chuanwu 1 liang (roasted, with skin and navel removed), Myrrh 1 liang (ground, with impurities removed), Frankincense half a liang (ground, with impurities removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from wine-boiled flour to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine before meals; for those who do not drink alcohol, take with wood apple soup. This medicine may be taken regularly; if pain flares up severely, prepare a decoction of Xiao Xuming Decoction with added areca nut, notopterygium, and green tangerine peel; discontinue once the pain subsides.
