Drug Formulation

Plum Kernels (5 liang; remove the coarse shell to obtain the kernels; soak in warm water; remove the tender membrane, tip, and core; wrap in high-quality white bamboo paper; pound to remove all oil) 5 qian,Ox Bile 2 fen 5 li, White Cinnabar 5 fen (i.e., a fine white porcelain vessel weighing 4–5 qian; place it in a sand pot with 1 bowl of sour vinegar, heat it over charcoal until red-hot, then dip it into the vinegar seven times. Next, heat 1 bowl of children’s urine until red-hot and dip the vessel into it seven times.
