Drug Formulation

1 liang of Yu Yuliang powder (ground, divided into two doses), 1 liang of licorice (half raw, half roasted, crushed), and half fen of talcum powder (ground, divided into two doses).

Instructions for Use

First, take half a liang of licorice root and boil it in 1 sheng of water until reduced to half a sheng. Mix this decoction with one dose each of the ground Yu Yuliang powder and talcum powder, and take the entire mixture on an empty stomach. This should expel the pathogenic matter. If not cured, take another dose. After the purgation, replenish with leek congee.
