Drug Formulation

2 lamb shanks, 1 set of lamb head and hooves, 4 cardamom pods, 3 liang of cassia bark, half a jin of fresh ginger, and Haxi clay (about the size of 2 Hui beans).

Processing

Boil the above ingredients in 1 tie luo of water until reduced to a broth; pour it into a stone pot, then add 1 jin of pomegranate seeds, 2 liang of black pepper, and a pinch of salt.To prepare the pomegranate seeds, use 1 guo of vegetable oil and 1 piece of Haxi Ni the size of a pea (stir-fry until pale yellow with a hint of black). Skim off all foam and oil, then clarify the liquid. Use agarwood, costus, Haxi Ni, and ghee to produce smoke, fumigate the bottle, and seal it for storage.
