First, take 6 sheng of fresh goji root (with bark, sliced) and 1.5 dou of water; decoct until reduced to 5 sheng, then strain out the residue. Add 2 sheng of dog feces, stir until well blended, and decant the clear liquid. Mix this with the prepared herbal powder, pound thoroughly, shape into cakes, and air-dry in the shade.

Benefits

For carbuncles and painful abscesses.

Instructions for Use

The patient should use a 2-ren needle to pierce the sore directly at its center. When the pain becomes unbearable, pull the needle out, scrape some of the powdered medicine, and pack it into the wound. As soon as the needle is removed, apply the medicine immediately—do not pause—and seal the entire sore. A swelling will form at the puncture site, and the peach root will emerge; in severe cases, it will emerge within half a day or more. If the sore has already become gangrenous and the peach root does not emerge, it will heal on its own; do not worry. For internal conditions, there will be corresponding external swelling, accompanied by chills and fever; if a boil is suspected, mix five doses of the scraped powder—each the size of a Paulownia seed—with half a bowl of water and take it orally three times a day and night; the condition will resolve on its own. If the root needs to be expelled, after taking the medicine for one day, induce vomiting using a chicken feather; the root will be expelled along with the vomit. If the root does not come out, the abscess will still resolve and ulcerate on its own.For external lesions, apply the medicine three times a day and night. After the root emerges, continue applying the medicine without interruption; new flesh will form, and the wound will heal quickly. If the condition is triggered by violating dietary taboos, take 3 sheng of goji root (including bark and pith, chopped), boil it in 5 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng, strain out the residue, grind 1 qianbi of the residue into a powder, mix it with 1 zhan of goji juice, and take it. Take 2–3 doses per day; it is even better to drink 2 zhan of goji juice on its own.Alternatively, mix goji berry juice with white dog feces, strain the mixture, and drink the resulting liquid—this is even more effective. Use the mixture immediately after preparation; there is no need to let it dry. The “white dog feces” referred to here are those produced after a dog has eaten bones; their color resembles lime, and they are simply called “white dog feces.”If prepared in advance, those made on the 5th day of the 5th month, the 7th day of the 7th month, the 9th day of the 9th month, or the last day of the 12th lunar month are particularly effective. If someone suddenly suffers from a sore throat accompanied by alternating chills and fever, this is the condition in question; treat it urgently with this remedy. Pain without apparent cause, accompanied by chills and fever, is also this condition; simply follow the instructions above, and a swift recovery will follow.
