Drug Formulation
6 qian of芒消, 2 liang of赭石 (finely ground), 2 liang of raw gypsum (crushed), and 5 qian of Lu Dangshen.

Benefits
For cases of Yangming Fu-stage excess with cold and heat patterns, presenting with dry, hard stools; where Chengqi Decoction should be used to induce a purgative effect, but the patient is unable to tolerate the medication due to vomiting.
Instructions for Use
Add 4 bowls of water to the pot. First decoct the first three ingredients; when the decoction is nearly ready, add芒消, boil for 1–2 more boils, and strain to obtain 2 bowls of clear liquid. First, take 1 bowl warm; after 3 hours, if no abdominal movement is felt and the urge to defecate arises, take the remaining 1 bowl warm.
