Drug Formulation
4 liang of Qiu Shi, 4 liang of deer antler powder, 2 liang of ginseng (preferably plump and firm), 2 liang of goji berries, 2 liang of cornelian cherry pulp, 2 liang of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed), 2 liang of Asparagus root (core removed), 2 liang of Eucommia bark (stir-fried with ginger juice until the fibers break), 2 liang of raw Rehmannia root, and 2 liang of prepared Rehmannia root (each soaked in wine).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from aged rice flour to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
A man should take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with boiling water. One month later, wait until the woman’s menstrual period has just ended—when the “metal” and “water” energies are at their peak—and the man should drink half a bowl of Plantain Seed Decoction on an empty stomach. If they have intercourse that night, they will conceive.
