Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia 5 qian, Scrophularia 5 qian, Amber 5 qian, Rhinoceros Horn (raw, pounded) 5 qian, Antelope Horn (pounded) 5 qian, Peppermint 5 qian, Platycodon 5 qian, Cimicifuga 5 qian, Calcined Gypsum 5 qian, Forsythia 5 qian, Ginseng 5 qian, Toothstone (ground separately) 5 qian,Red Poria 5 qian, Chuanxiong 1 liang, Cinnabar (water-floated) 1 liang, Chebulic Myrobalan (pitted) 4 qian, Ox Bile 4 qian, Borneol 4 qian, Indigo Powder 4 qian, Gypsum 3 qian, Musk a pinch, Gold Leaf 100 sheets (for coating).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with honey and licorice paste to form pills the size of a water caltrop.
