Drug Formulation

1 fen of white alum ash, 1 fen of cuttlefish bone (with the shell removed), 1 fen of cinnamon bark (with the coarse outer bark removed), 1 fen of aged tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and roasted), and 1 fen of whey sediment (aged for many years, sun-dried, and stir-fried until purple).

Processing

Pound and grind the ingredients together, then stir-fry until black. Allow to cool, then grind into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian bi per dose, mixed with warm wine; continue drinking wine until intoxicated. Additionally, wrap 1 qian bi in cotton, hold it in the mouth, cover the nose, and sneeze forcefully to expel the bone.
