Drug Formulation

Eucommia Fruit (soaked in boiling water 7 times, baked dry, lightly roasted) 20 liang; Benzoin (crushed, ground with fine wine, clarified to remove sediment, then simmered over low heat in a silver vessel until it forms a paste) 20 liang; Cypress Seed (roasted) 20 liang; Cornus Fruit (pitted) 20 liang; Corydalis 20 liang;Peach Kernels (remove skin and tip; stir-fried with wheat bran until light yellow) 20 liang, Polygonum cuspidatum 20 liang, Angelica sinensis 20 liang, Eucommia ulmoides (remove coarse bark, chop, and stir-fry) 20 liang, Aconite (processed, remove skin and pith) 20 liang, Wood Fragrance 20 liang, Eupatorium leaves 2.5 jin, Dried Ginger (processed) 2.5 jin, Cinnamon Bark (remove coarse bark) 2.5 jin,Artemisia leaves (lightly roasted) 2.5 jin, Astragalus (root stalks removed) 2.5 jin, Moutan bark 2.5 jin, Cistanche (soaked in wine, then baked) 5 jin, Magnolia bark (coarse bark removed, roasted with ginger juice until cooked) 5 jin.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with wheat flour and benzoin paste, cooked together to form a paste, and shape into pills the size of a tung seed.
