Formulas Name : Arsenic Trioxide and Realgar Powder

Chinese Name : 砒砂雄黄散

Drug Formulation

White arsenic (refined into a powder) 5 fen, cinnabar 5 fen, pure realgar 5 fen, raw white alum 5 fen, fresh toad venom 5 fen, dried plum slices 2 fen, white sparrow droppings (collected from sparrow droppings; use 2 grains), croton seeds 3 grains, arsenic trioxide (do not use salt-processed arsenic trioxide).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with beeswax to form a stick, and store for future use.

Instructions for Use

For all types of carbuncles, use a be-needle to lance the head of the carbuncle, insert this medicated strip into the wound, and cover it with a medicated plaster, changing it once a day.
