Drug Formulation

2 qian of roasted ox horn, 2 qian of roasted sheep horn, 2 qian of roasted turtle shell slices, 3 qian of horn thorns, 12 liang of raw rhubarb.

Processing

Take the three ingredients—ox horn, sheep horn, and turtle shell—wrap them in damp paper, and roast them until charred. Grind them into a fine powder, then mix thoroughly with the fine powders of the horn thorns and rhubarb.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose; 3 qian for weaker patients. Wash down with Shaoxing wine. When diarrhea occurs, go to an open area; after the bowel movement is complete, cover the excrement with soil to prevent harmful fumes from harming others. Take another dose every two days; for severe cases, no more than three doses are required. Subsequently, take the Pearl-Yellow Ten-Treasure Pill until fully recovered.
