Chinese Name : 白术妙功丸

Drug Formulation

Half liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, half liang of Eupatorium fortunei, half liang of Alisma orientale, half liang of Angelica sinensis (root tip removed), half liang of Magnolia officinalis (coarse bark removed, processed with ginger), half liang of Coptis chinensis (roasted), 2 qian of Corydalis yanhusuo, 3 qian of Melia azedarach, 3 qian of Areca catechu, 2 qian of Aquilaria agallocha, and 1 liang of Pinellia ternata (processed with ginger juice).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from boiled water and flour to form pills the size of a bean.

Benefits

For chronic deficiency of kidney qi, with qi rising upward and sinking downward, prolonged coldness in the navel and abdomen, and numbness and pain in the lower back; as well as for bladder hernia, abdominal masses causing oppression, rumbling in the small intestine, and a sensation of downward dragging.

Instructions for Use

Take 70 pills per dose, washed down with warm water before meals.
